Smash the Stress
Subsidised sessions for people experiencing stress, anxiety or burnout.
Smash the Stress gives people a safe, controlled and supervised way to release tension through physical activity. Participants can let off steam in a structured environment, helping them step away from daily pressure and reconnect with a sense of control.
These sessions are ideal for people who may be dealing with workplace stress, life pressure, anxiety or emotional overload. The focus is not aggression — it is release, reset and confidence.

Men’s Release Nights
Non-clinical wellbeing sessions aimed at men who may not feel comfortable in traditional support settings.
Men’s Release Nights are designed to give men a safe, practical and non-judgemental space to let off steam, reset and connect with others.
Not everyone finds it easy to sit in a room and talk about stress, pressure or difficult emotions. For many men, support can feel more natural when it starts with doing something physical, shared and structured. These sessions offer a different route into wellbeing — one built around safe release, movement, conversation and connection.
Each session is supervised by trained Shatter House staff and includes a full safety briefing, protective equipment and clear boundaries. The focus is not aggression or violence. It is about releasing pressure in a controlled environment, building confidence and creating space for honest conversation where people feel comfortable.
Men’s Release Nights may be suitable for men experiencing stress, burnout, isolation, life pressure or emotional overload. They are not therapy and are not a replacement for professional mental health support, but they can provide a positive outlet and a first step towards talking, connecting and feeling supported.
These sessions can help men:
- Release stress safely
- Build confidence
- Reduce isolation
- Connect with others
- Explore healthier ways to manage pressure
- Access support in a less formal environment

Creative Calm Sessions
Splatter room and art-based sessions for people who benefit from creative or sensory expression.
Creative Calm Sessions use colour, movement and messy creative expression to support wellbeing in a more relaxed way. These sessions are particularly suitable for people who enjoy sensory experiences, creative release or non-verbal forms of expression.
Participants can throw paint, create large-scale artwork and enjoy the freedom of making something without needing it to be perfect.
Community Access Fund
A percentage of paid bookings goes towards free or discounted sessions for local people, charities and referral partners.
